A northbound driver on Illinois 251 died in a two-vehicle crash south of Mendota yesterday morning. The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Department and Coroner’s Office say 20-year old Kaine M. Pizano-Olson was in a car that went out of control. It hit a tractor trailer truck. Pizano-Olson died at the scene. The truck driver was not hurt. The crash happened at 5am Wednesday.
