Illinois Valley Community College will have a virtual scholarship workshop Tuesday, January 26 at 5:30pm. It will cover how to apply for the IVCC Foundation scholarships. Some of the points to be brought up are common mistakes, essay guidelines, and good grammar and spelling.
There were more than 400 applications last year, and 331 students were awarded. The awards range from $500 to $4,500. Anyone who might want to participate in the event can contact IVCC to make a reservation.
