The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Department is one place to get applications for the Illinois Sheriff’s Association scholarship. Sheriff Tom Templeton will pick someone from the county to get one $500 award. It’s for someone planning to go to a full time certified institution of higher learning in Illinois in the 2021 to 2022 school year. Applications are due March 15th. They can also be found online at the county’s web site.
