Someone was going around knocking on doors at 2am today in Peru. Police are wondering if the person had anything to do with some vehicle burglaries in the area.
Deputy Police Chief Bob Pyszka says the person ran from police in the 2800 block of 2nd St. and got away. Then police looked around the area and found that several vehicles had been entered and rummaged through, some of them in garages, and all of them left unlocked.
Pyszka says lock your vehicle. And if you know who that was knocking on doors, let the police know.
