The number of current coronavirus cases known in LaSalle County has dropped below 2,500. The figures the LaSalle County Health Department provided Tuesday show 10,750 cases so far and 8,347 recoveries. That leaves 2,403 current cases. The number has been over 2,500 for most of the time since early December.
But the virus continues to be deadly. The health department reports another fatal case for 276 so far.
