Cong. Kinzinger says latest coronavirus relief bill is sparse on pandemic related items

Cong. Adam Kinzinger says there’s currently more than $1 trillion in unspent coronavirus stimulus money left unspent since last year. That’s one reason he voted against the new package for $1.9 trillion Saturday. He says there was bipartisan work on five previous bills with the idea that there’s an emergency and the funding is temporary. But Kinzinger says the latest bill contains billions of dollars in spending on Democratic wish lists instead of relief. Kinzinger says just 10% is going to public health funding and vaccines.
