The local Habitat for Humanity Chapter is building a home for an Ottawa family who will move to Ladd. Executive Director Sally Van Cura says it’ll be the first Habitat home in Ladd. Two volunteers asked for it to be there after working on the recently completed Ottawa project.
Van Cura says nearly all the money for the project is already raised. Justin and Kayla Heath will live in it with their daughter Hazel and their daughter yet to be born who will be named Evelyn. Construction will start in the spring.
