Coronavirus cases drop, but it’s still claiming lives

As the number of currently known coronavirus cases in LaSalle County trends downward, the virus isn’t done claiming lives. The LaSalle County Health Department Thursday reported a woman in her 80’s was fatal case number 282. There have been 10,939 cases known and 8,860 recoveries. That leaves 2,079 current cases.
