Cong. Adam Kinzinger says he’s glad his constituents will get additional coronavirus relief payments. And he’s glad to know there’s funding for access to vaccines, personal protective equipment, and unemployment insurance. But the Channahon Republican says the legislation passed Wednesday is one of the largest expenditures in American history with a lot of things unrelated to the pandemic.

He says Republicans were left out of all negotiations. Kinzinger says Democrats are the ones being partisan. And he says he voted against the measure because it doesn’t do enough to help people suffering from the pandemic while spending a massive amount of money that has to be accounted for down the road.
