If you have expired prescription drugs in your house they can be brought down to the Lasalle County Governmental Center on Etna Road in Ottawa and be disposed. County Coroner Rich Ploch says that 12 overdoes have happened this year with some involving prescription drugs.
The location on Etna Road will be open 24-7, 365 days of the year. Only expired prescriptions will be allowed while other things like liquids, aerosols and needles are not.
