An online discussion on healthcare will be happening on Zoom on Wednesday, April 7th. The Lasalle County Democratic Central Committee wants to explain what they mean when they talk about universal healthcare and the differences in single payer healthcare. This event is part of a continuing series of public forums hosted by the committee in the interest of education and community building.
Committee Chair Dani Brzozowski says in a statement, “Transparency and education help to provide practical context for people who recognize that the system doesn’t work but are perhaps overwhelmed by the amount of misinformation regarding solutions.” The event starts at 5:30 pm and participants can register on Facebook.
