Congressman Adam Kinzinger announced that his re-election campaign has already raised $2.2 million. His own campaign has raised $1.1 million and his Country First PAC has raised $1.1 million as well. Kinzinger said in a statement, “Across the board, these numbers show that we have momentum here.”
Country First which was started two months ago has more than 10,000 small dollar donors from all 50 states with an average donation of $46. The $1.1 million he raised was nearly three times the amounts he raised in both of his campaigns in 2017 and 2019.
