Illinois American Water is urging its customers with a past due balance to access the company’s financial assistance program H2O or Help to Others. The program, along with payment plans is available to help prevent service interruption for nonpayment. External Affairs Manager Karen Cotton says that it’s very important for customers to reach out about the program because they won’t be automatically enrolled.
To be enrolled in the program, customers must call 800-422-2782. This is only for customers who have service under Illinois American Water.
