Slow turnout reported for election

Consolidated elections aren’t the big draw that presidential and governor races are. Election judges Ottawa Radio spoke to Tuesday morning talked about how they pass the time with just two or three voters per hour to hand ballots to. When no one’s there voting, the election judges can get up and walk around. Or read. Or play games on their smart phones.

With sunny and warm weather Tuesday, no election judges were blaming the weather for low turnout.
