UPDATED with the victim’s identity
A traffic crash claimed a person’s life in western LaSalle County late Thursday morning. The crash was reported as a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 6 between Peru and Spring Valley. The Coroner’s Office says the person who died was 51-year old Joseph L. Janz.
