Michelle “Mimi” Dzierzynski has been named the manager for the Habitat Restore for Lasalle, Bureau and Putnam Counties. Dzierzynski says she believes in the Habitat mission of building a strong foundation of family, self-reliance and providing affordable homeownership opportunities for qualified families.
The Restore accepts donations of new and used items focusing on home improvement goods like furniture, home accessories, building and landscaping materials, and appliances. The new 28,000 squre foot store will house a vast array of new and used building materials and supplies. It will also offer a large community center for educational, financial, home ownership classes, DIY and art workshops.
