The Ottawa Pirates won their baseball season opener by dominated Pontiac in six innings 13-3. In girls volleyball Marquette defeated Putnam County in two sets at Bader Gym. Monday Local Sports Update

This past weekend in high school football Marquette won a wild one at Gould Stadium against Ridgewood 30-14. Senior Crusader Jake Thomas  had three interceptions in the victory.   Ottawa was dominated by LP at Howard Fellows Stadium 34-6.
